Ife360 Photography was founded by Ife Smenkh-Ka-Ra (that's me!)...yes I know that may be a mouthful...and yes that is my real name...and no, it is not a tongue twister :-) ...I have been interested in photography since I was 15, and was eventually mentored by the late Richardson Henry while I was at secondary school, Holy Name Convent, in Trinidad. I built my foundation on film photography and learned photography techniques long before I owned a camera. A few years later I hijacked my uncle's Kodak point & shoot, and FINALLY began to really explore all that I had been learning all along. Soon after turning 18, my dad got me a Nikon F100 (no way I could afford that on my own), unfortunately some retards decided to steal it so again I was without a camera :-( . I knew the next camera was on me....and for quite a few years my photography became dormant until I hit uni, at the University of the West Windies, my dad AGAIN got me a camera but this time a Nikon D50(he went straight for digital this time) ....my trusty ole pal until today....I can't wait to get my Nikon D300!!!! (Hey dad....hee hee)
I have been wanting to do a blog for awhile now, I was always just soooooo preoccupied with other things like latin dancing...learning spainsh...modern dance and I am a mechanical engineer as well so lets just say I have to make time. What I realized mostly was that I am dying to tell others (those who are willing to read this) what I experience through my journey in photography....and I am sure I can learn a thing or two from you as well....
So....here I go....enjoy my journey...and feel free to leave comments!

My Good Friend Ife, even though I've known you for (how much years??????? HMMMMmmmm lets see........2 years. LLOL!!!!!!!)
It seems longer than that, you are such a talented and kind person. You are one of my closest and best friends. I am glad that you are tapping in ONE of your raw talents (I know that you have much more talents inside of you:) ) Your photography captures the essence in time, whether be modeling, engagements, weddings etc. These pictures create TIMELESS moments and emotions portrayed by your clients, which is uniquely portrayed in film- pictures (through the eyes of a talented photographer like yourself.)
So GYUL (lol!!!!!!) Do your thang!!!
Much Love, Many BLESSINGS
Coreen

I've known Ife only for a few months since this year 2008 had began, however spending time with her; Ife has shared and continues to display her life goals, objectives and ambitions.
Ife passion for both of her work (mechanical engineering and photography is extraordinary! And I continue to see her passion be unleashed and reveal through photography by capturing the hearts of many us through her multi-talented skills.
Ife's growth, transformation, and innovativeness through her photography continue to excel remarkably!!!
Like many, we discover our raw talents and skills. With Ife in the short period of time I know her, I am seeing how her talent and skills has been manifested and developed through her character, personality and emotions.
I strongly believe Ife Smenkh-Ka-Ra will reach her pinnacle and along the journey her character is molding, maturing and blossoming.
There is so much more that can be said about Ife and her work and more will be said along the journey....
Love Always,
Raynard
Hey Raynard!!
It is really inspiring to read your thoughts about me and my photography. I can't ask for a better person to share the development of my talents with!
You always look for a deeper perspective :) from my photography and you are always willing to share your interpretation of my work. It is amazing because I want my photography to be thought provoking! You are not afraid to tell me what you see or at times don't see...
You are truly a great support and I look forward to seeing more of your talents being manifested as time progresses.
Stay blessed...Stay loving
